Do I have to use the Petal bottle?
No, any foaming hand soap bottle will work as long as you mix the pods with 8 to 9 ounces of water.
How much soap will each pod make?

What happens to the film from the pod when I mix it with water?
The pod's film is made from PVOH and completely dissolves in water with no residue.
Why does the soap feel thin?
Your soap should foam nicely when 1 pod is mixed with 8.5 ounces (250 ml) of water but you can also add 2 pods for a thicker foam.
